    Accuracy

    Prodigy® test strips are held to higher accuracy standards than required by the FDA.  The FDA requires a minimum of 95% strip accuracy. Prodigy Diabetes Care, LLC will only accept 97% strip accuracy or better for the manufacture of Prodigy® test strips-making Prodigy® one of the most accurate brands available today.

    No Coding

    Prodigy® test strips meet and exceed accuracy standards required by the FDA. The FDA requires a minimum of 95% strip accuracy. Prodigy® will only accept 97% strip accuracy or better—making Prodigy® meters some of the most accurate meters available today—for the manufacture of Prodigy® test strips.
    * Prodigy® does NOT use the GDH-PQQ glucose monitoring technology, used by some leading brands receiving an FDA warning. Prodigy® uses the proven glucose oxidase technology.

    Vision Impaired, Blind & Dyslexia

    TThe only NFB & AFB Award Winning meter for blind or low vision diabetics—a group of 3.2 million people or approximately 15% of all diabetics. Prodigy® meters feature a large easy-to-read screen, speaking feature
    and other blind-friendly features allowing total independence.
    It’s a benefit to both hear and see the test results, making Prodigy® the best meter for the 3 million diabetics with dyslexia.

    Latino Diabetics

    The Prodigy AutoCode® speaks in English or Spanish, requires No Coding, is very accurate and affordable—a great option for 3.5 million Latino diabetics (17% of all diabetics). We are currently working closely with The Latino Diabetes Association and other similar groups to reach the under-served community.
