    Mr. Munden holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration/Management from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, is a certified Purchasing Manager, and is experienced in motivating employees to work to their highest potential.

    In his spare time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking and taking his dog Chipper for trail runs.  In the 80’s Jerry fulfilled his lifelong dream of riding his bike across North America, a 4,200 mile adventure!

    Jerry Munden is passionate about helping others with diabetes as he as has been "living well with diabetes” for over 35 years.

    Dr. Paul Chous grew up in Southern California. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes mellitus at age five. Paul completed his undergraduate education at Brown University and UC Irvine. He received his Masters Degree in 1986 and his Doctorate of Optometry in 1991, both with highest honors from UC Berkeley. Dr. Chous was selected as the Outstanding Graduating Optometrist in 1991.

    Dr. Chous lectures and writes frequently on the subjects of diabetic eye disease and emerging treatments for diabetes and diabetic eye disease. He is a feature writer for the web sites dLife – Your Diabetes Life (http://www.dLife.com) and Diabetes In Control (http://www.diabetesincontrol.com), an ophthalmic consultant to Children With Diabetes (http://www.childrenwithdiabetes.org), the Kestrel Diabetes Product Sourcebook and the Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association (http://www.DESA.org). He lives with his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Chous and sons, Atticus and Charlie in Maple Valley, WA.

    Dave Joffe is a graduate of University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He has been providing diabetes care in Tampa Bay since 1995 and spent 2 years as an Eckerd Patient Care Pharmacist managing over 100 diabetes patients. Dave currently sees patients in over 30 primary care and endocrinologists offices. He was elected as a fellow in the American College of Apothecaries in 1999.  He is Past-President of the Florida West Coast Educators Association and Past-President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He is past-president of the AADE Pump Specialty Practice Group.  Dave is a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer for Medtronic, Animas, Insulet, Roche and Deltec. He is a certified CGMS (continuous glucose monitoring system) trainer, and has delivered CE to over 12,000 medical professionals.

    Dave speaks on diabetes and related co-morbidities for Abbott, Bayer, Pfizer, NovoNordisk, Lilly, Sanofi, Smiths, and Medtronic. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy, Florida A&M, University of Kentucky, and Mercer University and maintains a Diabetes Ambulatory Intern Rotation site for Doctor of Pharmacy candidates from all those schools on a year round basis.

    Dave currently develops diabetes projects for the Sweet Bay Grocery Chain and Pharmacy in the Tampa Bay area and sees patients in private practice and for insulin pump management. He continues to deliver CE to medical professionals and is Editor In Chief of DiabetesInControl Newsletter/ Ezine and Website, the largest diabetes internet website and newsletter for medical professionals.

    Dr. Johnson received his bachelors and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina. He has practiced in retail pharmacy, as a hospital diabetes coordinator and currently as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. He lectures on diabetes and teaches an elective on Diabetes Management. His clinical practice sites include an indigent clinic where he conducts a diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia clinic and worksite wellness programs.

    He has also served as the Director of Professional Affairs for the Georgia Pharmacy Association, where he oversaw the delivery of the APhA Diabetes and CV Ten City Challenge program in Dalton Georgia
    and other disease management programs.

    Dr. Johnson has presented talks locally and nationally about the management of diabetes, has published several journal articles and three book chapters.

    Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, where he has served on the Board of Directors and was the 2nd Vice President. He is also a member of the American Pharmacists Association, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and serves on Advisory Boards for several diabetes related companies...

    Dr. Pope received his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia. He currently practices at Barney's Pharmacy, and independent pharmacy in Augusta, GA, where he serves as director of the Diabetes and Wellness Center. He is also the co-owner of Hope Medical Center, a faith-based family practice office, and serves as editor-in-chief of creativepharmacist.com, an exciting new resource for pharmacists.

    Dr. Pope teaches diabetes, cardiovascular risk reduction, and personal care home classes throughout the year, and is currently seeking recognition from the American Diabetes Association for their diabetes self-management education program.  In addition, Dr. Pope assists with Medication Therapy Management and immunizes over 1,500 people every year.  He is also an ambulatory care preceptor for the University of South Carolina, and assists with students from the University of Georgia and the Medical University of South Carolina.  He resides in Evans, GA, with his wife, Kelley, and two sons, Grayson and Eli.
